ACCOUNTANT DEPARTMENT

The Accountant will prepare financial reports and assist with reconciling accounts and other duties, as needed. To succeed as an Accountant, you should possess an understanding of accounting and financial principles and a positive attitude. You should be collaborative, trustworthy, receptive to feedback, and eager to learn.

Requirements:

  • Aptitude for math, proficiency with computers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
  • Motivation and strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible.
  • Must be a recent graduate or actively working towards a Bachelor’s or Masters in Accounting.
  • ACA/ACCA or equivalent Qualified or pursuing.

PAYROLL SERVICES

Keep the Payroll Manager fully informed of the status of work and of any problems encountered, and to offer suggestions as to how these can be resolved efficiently and effectively.

  • A good general standard of education, including GCSC (or equivalent) in Maths and English at C or above.
  • A minimum of 2 years' in-house payroll experience.
  • Methodical, organised, and accurate
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office software
  • Good communication skills, both verbal & written

BOOK KEEPING SERVICES

One of Congleton's loveliest Accountancy practices are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to support with their clients across both high and low net worth accounts.As a Qualified Accountant, you'll work with both local and international clients as you manage their finances and accounts. Working with profit and loss accounts with a strong attention to detail, you'll support with the financial management and support advisory members of the team.

  • Ensure all information is documented and managed accordingly
  • Work with with XERO and other cloud softwares
  • Manage profit and loss accounts to the penny
  • Double entry bookkeeping
  • Support with the wider social media of the business
